Timeline
Below are the important dates leading up to the 2026 ComCruise. Note there are several DEADLINES you must meet. If you miss a deadline, you are subject to being bumped from the cruise and someone on the waiting list can take your spot. So, pay attention to the deadlines!
Note that sometimes these dates may change due to issues beyond our control – so check this Timeline page often.
Also, you will receive several emails before the cruise with important information. All of our emails have a subject line that starts with ‘[CC26]’ – so look for that in your email system.
Mar 29 – ComCruise website published, Application opens.
April 15 – Scholarship Application Deadline – your application must be turned in so the Scholarship Committee can review it.
Apr 19 – Participant Zoom Call – a general call for you to ask questions. You will receive an email with the call time and a Zoom link.
April 20 – PForMS available – you can upload your Required Forms into our custom ‘forms management system’ called PForMS.
April 30 – Scholarships Awarded – You should be notified if a scholarship was awarded.
May 15 – PForMS Incentive Deadline – If all Required Forms are both submitted and approved, you receive an incentive gift.
May 17 – Payment Deadline – your final payment of any outstanding balance must be received. We must purchase many items before the cruise.
May 21 – Ladies Only Zoom Call – just the ladies on this call. All female crew will receive an email with the call time and a Zoom link.
May 23-25 – Sea Scout Academy – Duffel Bags will be distributed at the Academy. If you do not attend, your duffel bag will be shipped.
June 1 – Forms Deadline and Registration closes. All Required Forms must be uploaded by this date. No refunds after this date. See Refund Policy.
June 7 – Roster published and remaining Duffel Bags shipped.
Jun 18 – Boat ‘pre-load’ day – VBOs can pre-load some items onto the boats.
Jun 20 – Launch Day 1 – Crew 1 – the Cruise starts at 0900 Hrs in Norfolk, VA. Be on time. Even better, be early.
Jun 27 – Launch Day 2 – Crew 2 – the Cruise starts at 0900 Hrs in Norfolk, VA. Be on time. Even better, be early.
